Barb & Marty to Halifax - June 1
Hi Everyone,
It was hot one yesterday!
Many thanks to bus buddy Dave mell and his wife for hunting us down on highway 5 just to say hello - the world is full of wonderful people! Thanks you guys! Gave us a boost! We made it to a wonderful shady campground with a pool 5 km south of Little Fort.
The whole way we came has just had the most beautiful scenery - However, Marty has already lost his glasses and is feeling very naked. We'll get him some druf store cheaters to tye him over till Edmonton.
We are having easier roads right now and it's cloudier today and should make Birch Mountain Campground tonight and then no matter what we will push on June 2 to Blue River where Marty has 3 brothers and we will get a day off! I think I'll sleep the whole time! I don't think I look any different, but my legs sure feel better - I am looking forward to the day when my son Zac says " wow mom you'll be able to crack walnuts with your butt cheeks!"
